• Cracked basement walls
• Map-type cracking

How much does the core testing cost?

The cost of core testing is partially reimbursed by the State of Connecticut.

How long does it take to replace the foundation?

Depending on the size of the house, it typically takes approximately 6 – 8 weeks to complete the replacement.

Can I live in my home during the process?

Should I have the furnace/boiler or water heater replaced during the process?

Now is the perfect time to do so if it needs to be replaced, and it is also a good time to replace the oil tank.

What type of testing is done to confirm I have a crumbling foundation?

Core samples are taken from the foundation and analyzed by a licensed concrete testing lab.

How much does it cost to fix a crumbling foundation?

Foundation repairs vary in cost. A full foundation replacement can range from $175,000 to $200,000. There are grants for which you can apply that cover a portion of the cost, and your insurance provider may cover some of the costs.

Will the foundation replacement damage the internal walls and floors of my home?

No. This very rarely occurs.

What happens to the utilities and appliances in the home?

The utilities will be disconnected, and the appliances will be removed from the basement area. Some people like to keep them on-site if there is room. If not, we can take them and safely store them offsite in our shop.
